Training approach
Four straightforward stages, repeated as needed.
We keep our method simple, because complicated processes get in the way of learning. Every piece of work follows the same four stages, at whatever pace suits the person or team.
- 01
Assess
We start by understanding what someone can already do and what they are trying to achieve. That usually takes a short conversation and a few questions about the software involved.
- 02
Guide
We then provide the right learning materials and practical instructions for that starting point — a guide, a tutorial, a walkthrough, or a combination.
- 03
Practice
Knowledge sticks when it is used. We help people apply what they have learned to their own real digital tasks rather than to made-up examples.
- 04
Support
Questions come up afterwards. We stay available for follow-up guidance so a small sticking point does not undo the progress made.
A few principles
What we try to get right every time
Plain language
Technical terms are explained when they are needed and avoided when they are not.
One thing at a time
A short session that covers a single task well is more useful than a long one that covers ten.
Something to keep
Written notes or a guide go with the session, so nothing depends on remembering it all.
Honest about limits
If a request needs a specialist, we say so rather than improvise.
Who we help
The people we usually work with
We work with individuals and with small organisations. The approach is the same in both cases; only the number of people involved changes.
Individuals developing digital skills
People who want to be more comfortable and independent with the software they use.
Professionals learning new software
Anyone who has been asked to pick up an unfamiliar application as part of their role.
Small businesses
Small teams that need shared, practical understanding of the tools they rely on.
Administrative teams
Office and admin staff handling documents, records, correspondence and scheduling.
Organisations introducing new digital tools
Groups moving to a new system who want their people supported through the change.

A short message about the software involved and who needs the help is enough for us to suggest a sensible first step.
